Is there a free trial?
Yes. First-time subscribers get a 14-day free trial with full access. You add a card when you start it, and you aren't charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before then and you won't pay anything. After the trial, the plan is $99 a month or $990 a year.
How fast does a homeowner see a price?
Right after they confirm their roof and enter their contact details. The widget shows a price for each product you've selected, on screen, and emails them a PDF copy of the quote. You get a new lead email with their details and roof data.
Which websites can show my widget?
Only the domains you list under Allowed Domains on the Developer page, up to 5. The match is exact, so add both yourcompany.com and www.yourcompany.com if your site opens on both. The code works on any site where you can paste a script or HTML, including WordPress, Wix and Squarespace.
What happens to my leads if I cancel?
Canceling turns off renewal, and your account keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for, or the end of your trial. After that, the widget stops showing and most of the dashboard, including your leads list, locks until you subscribe again. Export your leads from the Dashboard before then. Our privacy policy explains how long account data is kept after cancellation.
Can the widget match my brand?
Yes. On the Developer page you set the button position, the button and accent colors, and the main widget texts, from the heading to the submit button. Your logo, company name and contact details go on the quote email and PDF, set in Settings. The widget itself doesn't show your logo, and RoofSell's name only appears in the small print under the prices.
Is my data secure?
Each company's leads are kept separate, and sales reps only see the leads assigned to them. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch RoofSell's servers. The widget only loads on the domains you approve.
How accurate are the roof measurements?
They're built for a first quote, not a final contract. RoofSell outlines the building from mapping data, checks it against Google's Solar API, and reads the roof slope from Google where it's available. New builds, complex roofs and unmapped areas can throw it off, so confirm on site before you sign. More in roof measurement accuracy.
Can I add my sales team?
Yes. Add reps on the Team page with their name, email and a password. Your plan is priced per company, not per user, so adding reps costs nothing extra. Each rep sees only the leads you assign to them.
