To create a RoofSell account, sign up with your company name and email, verify the address, then finish 3 short setup steps in the dashboard. Most tabs stay locked until those steps are done, so plan to do them in one sitting.
Create a RoofSell account in 4 steps
- Go to the sign-up page.
- Enter your Company Name, First Name, Last Name and Email. Use an inbox you check, because the verification link goes there.
- Choose a password of at least 6 characters, type it again under Confirm Password, and click Create Account.
- Open the email from RoofSell and click Verify Email Address. You'll be signed in and taken to your dashboard.
Finish setup to open the rest of the dashboard
Until setup is complete, tabs like Dashboard, Rep Quotes and Analytics show a lock icon, and a Finish setting up your account checklist pops up. Click any locked tab to bring it back. The 3 steps:
- Start your 14-day free trial on the Billing page. You add a card here, and you aren't charged until the trial ends.
- Select at least one product on the Products page. Click Add on the roofing products you sell, then Save Changes. These are the options homeowners see priced in the widget.
- Add an allowed domain on the Developer page. Turn on the Widget Plugin toggle first, then type your website domain under Allowed Domains and click SAVE CHANGES.
Once all 3 are done, every tab opens up. Next, add the widget to your website and fill in your company profile so your quotes carry your logo and contact details.

Your Tool ID
Your company name also sets your Tool ID, the unique ID inside your widget code. You can see it on the Developer page. To change it, contact support.
