From job site to software company
Our co-founder Alex spent five years running a mid-size roofing company in Boston. Every week he watched his reps lose leads because quotes took too long. Customers would request an estimate, wait 48 hours, and sign with a competitor who showed up faster.
He partnered with Maya, a senior engineer, to prototype a simple widget — paste it on your website, let customers get an instant satellite-based estimate, capture their info. The first version was live in six weeks. In three months it had generated over 1 000 leads for a handful of beta customers.
Today RoofSell is a full CRM, analytics, and quoting platform used by contractors across the US and Canada. We're still the same small, opinionated team that cares more about your close rate than anything else.
