RoofSell sends a new lead email as soon as a homeowner submits your widget. It goes to the email address the account owner signs in with, and there's nothing to set up.
What's in the new lead email
The subject line shows the homeowner's name and the quote ID, which starts with RQP. Inside you'll find:
- Name, email, phone and address, with links to call or email the homeowner
- Any notes the homeowner typed
- Total roof area and the estimated price range across your products
- A table of each roof section with its area, pitch and waste factor
- An Open Quote in Dashboard button that takes you straight to the lead
Who receives lead notifications
Only the account owner. Sales reps don't get new lead emails, and they aren't emailed when you assign a lead to them, so let them know when something new is on their list.
There's no setting to add recipients or turn the email off. If someone in your office needs a copy, set up a forwarding rule in your own email account. To change the address the alerts go to, open a support ticket under Account & team.
Emails your customers get
- The homeowner gets a quote email with a PDF attached right after submitting the widget. You can change its logo, subject, greeting and sections. See Customizing your quote email and PDF.
- Setting a lead to Open, or clicking Send on the quote page, emails the latest version of the quote to the customer.
Not getting the emails?
- Search your spam or junk folder for New lead and mark the message as not spam.
- Check whether the leads show up on your Dashboard. If they do, the problem is email delivery, so open a support ticket.
- If no leads show up either, the widget may not be live on your site. See Adding allowed domains for your widget.
