How to add the estimate widget to Wix and other site builders

To add the estimate widget to Wix, paste the RoofSell widget script into your site's custom code setting so it loads on every page. There's no RoofSell app in the Wix App Market. The same approach works on Squarespace and most other site builders.

Start on the RoofSell Developer page: switch on Widget Plugin, add your domain under Allowed Domains, and copy the code under Widget Script.

Add the estimate widget to Wix

  1. In your Wix dashboard, open Settings and find Custom Code.
  2. Add new custom code and paste the widget script.
  3. Set it to load on all pages, placed at the end of the body.
  4. Apply the change, then publish your site.
  5. Open your live site and look for the quote button.

Squarespace and other builders

On Squarespace, paste the script into the Footer field of Code Injection. Other builders call this setting custom code, footer scripts or tracking code. Many only offer it on paid plans. Wherever it lives, the rule is the same: the script must load on the pages where you want the button.

Using the inline form on a site builder

Most builders also have an embed or HTML element where you can paste the Embedded iFrame code. Some builders run that element from their own domain, which doesn't match your Allowed Domains, and the form stays blank. If that happens, use the widget script instead.

Still not showing?

Run through the checklist in how to add the roofing estimate widget. The usual cause is a domain mismatch, like adding yourcompany.com when your site loads on www.yourcompany.com.
