You can rewrite most of the widget text from the Developer page: the button label, the panel title, the main heading, the subtitle, the address box placeholder and the submit button. Any field you leave blank keeps the default wording.
How to edit the widget text
- Click Developer in the sidebar. The widget has to be switched on for these settings to show.
- Click Widget Texts to open the section.
- Fill in Main Heading, Button / Tab Text and Panel Header Title.
- For more fields, turn on Deep Customization. This adds Subtitle, Search Placeholder and Submit Button Text.
- Check the live preview, then click SAVE CHANGES.
To go back to the defaults, click Reset at the top of the section, then save.
Default widget text
- Main Heading: What Will My Roof Cost?
- Button / Tab Text and Panel Header Title: Instant Roof Quote
- Subtitle: Get your roofing quote instantly by entering your street address
- Submit Button Text: Get Your Quote
On a phone, a long heading wraps onto several lines, so short and plain wording works best. Say what the homeowner gets, for example a free price for their roof.
Can I change the contact form fields?
No. The contact form always asks for first name, last name, email and a 10-digit phone number, plus an optional notes box of up to 250 characters. You can't add, remove or rename these fields.
What you can change is the text on the submit button, using Submit Button Text.
To change colors or where the button sits, see Changing your widget colors and button position.
